On the 2nd October 2015 we launched our new project “Supporting and Stabilizing Lives”. This was attended by around 50 people, some from other organisations, funders past and present, local councillors including Luciana Berger, Louise Ellman, the local media and last but not least our service users. Our Chair opened the launch and spoke about the beginning of Sanctuary and how we have progressed through the years up until the present day. She then introduced the Project Co-ordinator. The Project Co-ordinator introduced the new staff, and talked about their roles within the project. Two of our service users gave Testimonies about the help they had received from Sanctuary. Two of our carers went on to give a performance around role-play, one being the mother of a user who hadn’t sought help. The day was a great success ending with an enjoyable lunch and some holistic therapies.
